Pollitify and Mutual Aid
“Mutual aid is a system of collective care where communities directly provide support and resources to one another, outside of traditional institutions like government or charity. It is based on the principle of ‘solidarity, not charity,’ where members of a group pool their resources to meet each other's needs, such as providing food, housing assistance, healthcare, or legal support. Examples include neighborhood food-sharing networks, community bail funds, and disaster relief efforts.”
Pollitify's Mutual Aid work starts with our first grant program, Soup for Our Family,
a program where Pollitify is funding 60 individuals nation wide to do home based food assistance.
